Candidate Filing for Montgomery County May Election Now Open
Candidates wishing to have their name listed on the May Election municipal ballots in Montgomery County can now submit their application for candidacy. The deadline to have your paperwork submitted is February 12th, 2021. Offices included will be Mayor, City Council/ Alderman, School Board Trustee, & Municipal Utility District Directors. The election is scheduled for May 1st, 2021. These offices are non-partisan. The Libertarian Party of Montgomery County will be providing training and assistance to candidates who sign an Oath of Affiliation with the Libertarian Party. Most of these positions are voluntary, however there are some municipalities that offer compensation for those elected to office.
